We have no greater example than the Lord Jesus. Out of the heart flow all the issues of life! The heart is deceitful, it will fool you! Our hard and ungoverned heart will kill us if it is not tempered by a mind that is submitted to Christ! It can also hate big, causing you to do and say heinous things. My heart will sometimes cause me to do things to help a situation, when my mind says, "Leave that sorry good for nothing alone!" You see, a great heart can love big, and worship big because it emotes! It can emote great worship and happiness in life, but it can also emote great pain and suffering. A great heart sometimes works for you and sometimes it works against you. Truth is, in that same heart, I have suffered some of my most painful defeats. Victory and healing in my heart is a wonderful thing. God and you have helped me with those struggles that were actually a heart attack! Stress and pressure will not only make you physically sick, but anxiety will also make you spiritually sick You have oft refreshed me, loved me, and strengthened me in my infirmities both physical and spiritual. Some of life's greatest struggles have occurred in my heart. When my heart aches and hurts, it affects what is going on in my head. We've talked many times about the pressures of life and the effect they have on our hearts. You might call it war! And the problem is that my body joins in on the war as an ally of my heart. But sometimes my heart doesn't agree with my mind, and the result is a huge fight.
I'm a get it done, stick to it, don't stop, keep working, everything is gonna be all right.
I myself have a mind that is so tenacious. As you observe his personality traits, convictions habits, and response to life itself, a pattern will become clear, thought processes that reveal certain God influenced values and beliefs. If you watch a person over a period of time, you will discover that a mindset usually prevails in all activities in good times and bad. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. So then with the mind, I myself serve the law of God but with the flesh the law of sin. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. You can never get over that painful thing in your past with all that hurt until you first give up what and how you think!īut he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
